the best korean restaurant so far. great service and great food! Eventho the price is quite high, but its all worthed! ordered diamond cut galbi, wagyu a5 steak, japchae, pork bone soup, and other menus. they also provide several kind of banchan, and their kimchi was perfect! also theres a free dessert after meal, watermelon, mango ice, or iced coffee. Staff were super helpful and polite, they helped us to cook the meat at the table. great ambience to gather with friends or family.

One of my go-to places for Korean BBQ, Surasang provides a dining experience that blends the traditional Korean BBQ joint with a touch of fine dining, offering luxurious beef cuts depending on how much you want to splurge. The restaurant itself is decorated with a very sleek interior, with lots of black and gold accents and ultra-modern feel, atypical of a standard Korean BBQ restaurant. The food overall was excellent - starting with the plentiful banchan offerings. Tried several cuts of meat including Wagyu Flat Iron, Wagyu Picanha, Diamond Cut Galbi, Samgyeopsal, Grilled Squid and Pork Jowl. The meats were cooked directly at the table to perfection and everything was super tender, juicy and delicious. For steak lovers, I really recommend the Wagyu Picanha, definitely one of my favorite cuts here by far, super flavorful. Additionally, had a taste of their Korean Bibimbap, Fried Chicken and no Korean BBQ is complete without a side of Gyeranjjim - all delicious and tasty. If you like something alcoholic and sweet, try their Honeycomb Makgeolli as well - unique and refreshing. Finished up each meal with some complimentary dessert: get the mango shaved ice - it rounds up the meal nicely. The staff were extemely attentive, friendly and the cooking staff handling the grilling were all really skilled - everything was cooked to our liking. Reservations were easy and the overall service was excellent. Surasang has everything for everyone. You are free to splurge on some luxurious cuts of beef or keep it simple and order some of the traditional Korean staple dishes - either way, I always enjoy eating here.

Very nice ambience and good service, specially from Mr Nico! Really like the banchan terutama the crabstick and tokkpoki! Even Mr Nico let us take away that banchan!

If you crave for premium Korean Barbecue and don’t mind paying the price, this is definitely the place you should go. I always enjoy their meat selection, their banchan are flavorful, service was great and private rooms are available too…

The food here is really good but super pricey, called for their pork belly (sweet & spicy) more recommend for their original rather than marinated. Place feels comfy and elegant. Most of the staff are friendly. But one staff wearing a black hat and black clothes when we called for service he tell me to wait with a rude gesture and keep speaking to the other waiter in white clothes (this person didn't see us calling) without telling other to get us some help even when they already done talking. Well, maybe they are making privilege for the private room guest as the white cloth waiter directly went in there and the black hat staff just ignored us then when to the kitchen. We are the only table left at the open table and the staff only both of them at that time, who else are we suppose to call except them? So ya, they have private room and you need to spend min. 2 mio rupiah on weekday, weekend min. 4 mio rupiah. But overall experience here is great, minus the one rude staff other staff have great attitude and service, super recommended as the food are awesome and worth the price. You'll get free dessert at the end of your meal.

Great service, great food, great place! No complaint! Price quite high but everything is delicious! What we ordered: - Diamond Cut Galbi (575K) – Hands down the best beef BBQ I’ve ever had! Incredibly juicy, tender, sweet, and literally melts in your mouth. Highly recommended! - Flower Pork (375K) – First time trying this cut, and I loved it! Super tender but not overly fatty like pork belly. Really well-balanced. - Seollongtang (140K) – Honestly, the best beef broth soup I’ve ever had in Jakarta! Rich, creamy, savory with a touch of sweetness, and super generous with the beef. The glass noodles were perfectly chewy and satisfying. - Their Honeycomb makgeolli also amazing, sweet with perfect level of alcohol. Best to pair it with the meat ! You also get 9 kinds of banchan, and they’re all delicious—especially the truffle corn and a marinated beef side that reminded me of Yos*ino*a (in a good way!) To top it off, you get a free dessert after your meal—choose from fresh watermelon, mango shaved ice, or iced coffee. Such a great ending to an amazing meal
